About pamm

Coming out later in life (1999, Dallas, TX, was extremely hard. I was married to a man twice, the last time for 10 years. I had a wonderful daughter and granddaughter. But I always felt something was out of touch with my sexuality.

I had approached a close friend in college, only to be turned down. I did not know any other queer people. Then a friend came to me and revealed her coming out story. I immediately felt a need to know what that was like. I divorced my husband; lost every single friend I had had for the past twenty years and spent the next year and a half trying to find my community. It was a painful journey that I am thankful to be on the other side of.

Now I live an open vibrant queer life in New Mexico. I am ED of the New Mexico Out Business Alliance and President of pamm meyers Social Media. Giving queer voices an outlet has been a goal of mine for many years and I am excited to be able to share our stories.
